It would be nice to think to post here when things are going well and I’m happy rather than when I hate everything and just want to look at beautiful pictures until I fall asleep.
It would be nice for me to not go into a tailspin because someone I’ve seen in person for a grand total of 6 hours decides she’s going to start dating her ex again after they broke up a year ago. It was a fucking Tinder date, why does it even bother me so much?
It would be nice if I could figure this all out. It’s been five years since I’ve had a truly meaningful connection with someone and I’m yearning for it so much. The happiness I feel when it actually happens is struck down so quickly by the seemingly inevitable rejection I’m wondering why I even bothered starting to try again in the first place.
